AI SEO Expert in Jaipur, Working Remotely from Madhya Pradesh
I'm Jagmohan Kurmi, an AI SEO consultant based in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, and I work with Jaipur businesses remotely: heritage hotels, jewellers, block-print and craft exporters, and colleges. My job is to make sure Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Gemini can find, understand and fairly describe you. To start, WhatsApp me your website and three questions you would want an AI assistant to answer with your name in it.

Which Jaipur businesses are already being judged by AI answers?
Mostly the ones whose customers plan from far away. Jaipur sells to people who are not in Jaipur yet: a family in Pune planning the Golden Triangle, a jewellery buyer in Dubai, a home-furnishing importer in Europe, a parent in Bihar comparing engineering colleges. Those people increasingly type a full question into ChatGPT or Google and read a summary before they ever see a list of links.
Heritage hotels and havelis
The walled Pink City is on UNESCO's World Heritage list, and so are Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar. A traveller asks, "quiet heritage hotel inside the walled city, walking distance to Hawa Mahal, with parking". The answer usually names three or four properties. If your rooms, location and parking are described only inside booking-site listings, the AI often quotes the listing, not you.
Gems and jewellery
Johari Bazaar's kundan and meenakari work and the gem-cutting workshops around Sitapura sell on trust. Buyers ask AI tools how to check a certified stone, or which showrooms are genuine. A jeweller whose site explains certification, return policy and the people behind the counter in plain text gives the engine something it can repeat.
Block print, blue pottery and rugs
Sanganeri and Bagru hand block printing, blue pottery and hand-knotted rugs are bought by wholesale buyers who research suppliers in English. Their questions are specific: natural dyes, minimum order, export documents. Pages that answer those questions directly are the ones that get pulled into AI summaries.
Colleges and coaching
MNIT Jaipur sits alongside many private universities and coaching institutes. Students and parents ask AI assistants about fees, hostels and placement records. Wrong or outdated figures in an AI answer cost admissions, so for institutes the first task is often correcting what the engines already believe.
The searches are mixed-language. I see English questions from travellers and importers, and Hinglish from local buyers: "Jaipur mein asli kundan set kahan milega", "Sanganer block print wholesale rate". A page set that only targets "jewellery shop Jaipur" in English misses half of how people actually ask.
How do ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews decide which source to cite?
Each one runs a web search of its own, reads a handful of pages, and writes an answer from them. So the first test is boring and decisive: can the engine's crawler reach your pages, and does your page say the thing clearly enough to be quoted?
Google AI Overviews and AI Mode
Google's documentation on AI features is unusually blunt: there are no extra requirements and no special optimisation for AI Overviews or AI Mode. A page has to be indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet. Google also describes "query fan-out", where one question is split into several related searches. For a Jaipur hotel, that means the engine may separately look up location, parking, family rooms and reviews, and your page only gets used if it covers the sub-question being searched.
ChatGPT search
OpenAI uses a crawler called OAI-SearchBot to surface sites in ChatGPT's search features. It is separate from GPTBot, which collects training data. Many Jaipur sites I check have a security plugin or CDN rule that blocks unknown bots, and OAI-SearchBot gets caught in it. Blocking GPTBot is a reasonable choice; blocking OAI-SearchBot removes you from ChatGPT's search answers.
Perplexity
Perplexity shows its sources openly, which makes it the easiest engine to audit. PerplexityBot indexes pages for its results, and a separate fetcher visits pages when a user asks something. Perplexity tends to cite pages that answer the exact question in a sentence or two, often from directories, blogs and comparison posts rather than the business's own site.
Gemini
Gemini can ground its answers in Google Search, so most of the same rules apply: indexable pages, clear facts, consistent business details. Where Gemini differs in my tests is how often it leans on your Google Business Profile for local questions.
None of this needs a secret format. What it needs is your facts written plainly, on pages the bots can read, and repeated identically everywhere your business is listed.
Why I serve Jaipur from Damoh instead of renting a fake address
Because nothing in AI search depends on where the consultant sits. The engines read your website, your Business Profile, your listings and what others write about you. All of that is edited online. I have never needed to stand in a hotel lobby to fix its schema or rewrite its room pages.
Plenty of agencies list a Jaipur address that turns out to be a co-working desk or nothing at all. I would rather tell you plainly: I live and work in Damoh, in Madhya Pradesh. My only listed address is my home town. What you get instead of an office is a fixed rhythm:
- A kick-off video call to agree the prompts we will track and the pages that matter
- WhatsApp for quick questions, with replies on working days
- A shared sheet where every prompt test result is logged with date and engine
- A written report every month: what changed, what the engines now say, what I'll do next
- Your own logins stay yours: Search Console, Business Profile, website admin
The one thing remote work can't do is take photos of your property or showroom. If your site needs new pictures, a local photographer you already trust will do it better than I could anyway.
How I check whether AI search is mentioning your Jaipur business
I test with real prompts, written the way your customers speak, and I log every answer. It is manual, it is slow, and it is the only honest way I know to measure this today.
- Step 1 · Week 1
Write the prompt set
With you, I write prompts in three groups: discovery ("family-friendly heritage hotel in Jaipur under a budget"), comparison (your name versus two competitors you pick) and fact checks ("what are the check-in rules at [your hotel]"). Hindi and Hinglish versions go in alongside English.
- Step 2 · Weeks 1–2
Run the baseline
Each prompt goes into ChatGPT with search on, Perplexity, Gemini and Google (watching for an AI Overview or AI Mode answer). I record whether you are named, what is said, which sources are cited, and whether any detail is wrong.
- Step 3 · Weeks 2–8
Fix what the engines read
Crawler access, page facts, FAQ answers in plain HTML, Organization and LocalBusiness markup that matches the page, Business Profile details, and listings that contradict each other.
- Step 4 · Monthly
Re-test on the same prompts
Same prompts, same engines, logged in the same sheet. Answers vary between runs, so I look at patterns across several runs rather than one lucky screenshot.
For a fuller walkthrough of the method, see my guide on how to check your AI search visibility.
Making your hotel or showroom one clear entity
AI engines get confused when the same business appears under three spellings with two phone numbers. A haveli listed as "X Haveli", "Hotel X Palace" and "X Heritage Stay" across booking sites, Google and Instagram may be treated as three different places, or the details get blended.
So I make one canonical record: legal and trading name, address, phone, founding year, what you sell. That record goes on your About page and into structured data with sameAs links to your Business Profile, social pages and directory listings. Where the business is notable enough, a Wikidata item can help, but only if it meets Wikidata's own rules.
I've done this on myself first. My Wikidata item (Q141685180), ORCID record, LinkedIn and Crunchbase all describe the same person in the same words, and my site's Person markup links to them. It is the same work I'd do for your business, just with my own name as the test case. More on the approach is on my entity SEO services page.
What AI SEO for a Jaipur business costs
These are the same bands I charge anywhere in India. Jaipur clients don't pay a metro premium, and there is no travel cost because there is no travel.
| Item | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AI visibility & structured-data layer | ₹8,000 – ₹15,000 / month | Prompt testing, schema, entity clean-up, crawler checks. Added on top of SEO or run alone for a site that already ranks. |
| Local SEO for one hotel, showroom or clinic | ₹12,000 – ₹25,000 / month | Business Profile, local pages, reviews process, citations |
| SEO for a growing business (exporters, institutes, multi-property) | ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 / month | Content, technical SEO and the AI visibility work together |
| One-time SEO audit | ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 | Includes a first AI-answer check on your main prompts |
Prices are management fees. Hosting, paid tools and any ad spend are separate and paid directly by you. Full bands are on my SEO pricing page.
What I can't promise a Jaipur business
I can't guarantee that ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google will name you for any prompt. Nobody can. These systems change their sources between one day and the next, personalise answers, and don't publish how they rank.
- I can't remove a bad review or a negative article; I can make sure your own side of the facts is available and accurate.
- I can't make an AI answer cite your site over a large booking platform that already has more detail; I can make your page the more complete source for questions the platforms don't answer.
- I don't buy mentions or plant fake reviews. Both breach platform rules and tend to backfire.
When I'm the wrong choice for you
- You need someone to visit your property every week or manage on-site photography.
- You want a written promise of being named by ChatGPT within a month.
- Your website can't be edited and you are not willing to change it.
- You want fake reviews, bought listicle mentions or paid links.
